Joe Del Prado is an OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer specialising in rail and transport critical infrastructure. With over 20 years in transport, he focuses on practical cyber resilience through monitoring, threat modelling, and governance that aligns to operational reality.

Joe Del Prado is an OT/ICS Cybersecurity Engineer with over 20 years of experience in the transport industry, specialising in cybersecurity for operational technology and control systems across rail infrastructure. His work spans telecoms, signalling, and critical systems, with a focus on practical risk reduction that aligns to how operations actually run.

Joe has led significant initiatives including cyber incident response exercises, IDS deployments across rolling stock, and NIS regulatory remediation programmes. He is an active contributor to the professional community through writing and speaking, and has been nominated for the National Cyber Security Awards 2025 in the Emerging Talent category. He holds an MSc in Cybersecurity and is a member of ISC2, ISACA, CIISec, and the Chartered Institute of Railway Operators.
